| dc.description.abstract | Osmanlı Devleti döneminde şehir tarihi araştırmaları için şer‘iyye sicilleri önemli bir kaynaktır. Şehirlerde yargı, yönetim ve toplum işleriyle ilgilenen kadıların resmî işlemlerinin kayıtları olan şer‘iyye sicilleri, şehirlerin siyasi, idari, sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel yaşamına dair bilgiler sunarlar. Osmanlı Devleti’nde yargıçlık da yapan kadılar, Cumhuriyetin ilk yıllarında devam eden inkılaplar sırasında özellikle miras davalarına bakmışlar ve bu davaların kararları şer‘iyye sicillerine yazılmıştır. Nevşehir 18 Numaralı Şer‘iyye Sicili’ne 1920-1927 tarih aralığındaki miras paylaşımı konuları kayıt edilmiştir. Bu dönemde Nevşehir’de Müslüman Türklerle birlikte Rumların da yaşadığı, Rum vatandaşların miras işlemlerinin de şer‘iyye sicillerinde yer aldığı görülmektedir. 1920-1927 döneminde Nevşehir’deki kişi ve yer adları, günlük yaşamda kullanılan eşyalar, mirasa konu olan tereke toplumun sosyal hayatı konusunda bilgi sahibi olunmasını sağlamaktadır. Bu kayıtlar Nevşehir’in idari, sosyal yapısı hakkında kıymetli bilgiler ihtiva etmektedir. Çalışmada 75 varak ve 150 sayfadan oluşan sicil kayıtları günümüz alfabesine aktarılmış ve tahlil edilmiştir. Şer‘iyye sicili kayıtlarından Nevşehir’in Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin ilk yıllarındaki sosyal yaşamı ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu bilgilerin günümüz toplum yapısının tanınmasına ve sosyal gelişmelerin kökenlerinin anlaşılmasına katkı sağlayabileceği değerlendirilmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Sharia court registers have an important place in the urban history researches of the Ottoman Empire period. Sharia court registers, in which the kadis, who had judicial, administrative and social duties in the cities, recorded their official transactions, contain information about the political, administrative, social, economic and cultural life of the city to which they belonged. The kadi, who held the office of judge in the Ottoman Empire, continued to deal with inheritance cases in the early period of the Republic while the reform processes continued, and the provisions on inheritance cases were recorded in the registers of the Sharia court. Register No. 18 of the Sharia Court of Nevşehir records the portion of the inheritance matters between 1920 and 1927. It is seen that Greeks lived in Nevşehir together with Muslim Turks during this period, and the inheritance matters of Greek citizens were also recorded in the registers of the Sharia court. In the period from 1920to 1927, the names of people and places in Nevşehir, the objects used in daily life and the inherited estates provide information about social life in society. These records contain valuable information about the administrative and social structure of Nevşehir. In this study, the register entries, consisting of 75 varaks and 150 pages, were transferred into the modern alphabet and analyzed. An attempt has been made to unveil the social life of Nevşehir in the early years of the Republic of Turkey through the records of the Sharia court registers. It is expected that this information can contribute to the recognition of today's social structure and the understanding of the origins of social developments. | en_US |
