dc.description.abstractŞimdi’yi ve geçmişi kurgularken başvurulan bütün roman unsurlarını gelecek kurgulamak için kullanma; ütopya, karşı-ütopya (distopya), bilim-kurgu vb. roman türlerinin ortaya çıkışında etkilidir. Var olan toplumsal şartların gelecekte daha vahim sonuçlar doğurmuş bir çatışma unsuru olarak ortaya konması distopik kurguların temel çıkış noktasıdır. Bu nedenle distopik romanlarda modern dönem sonrası ortaya çıkan toplumsal ve bireysel sorunların ne kadar büyüyebileceğine dair kurgusal bir öngörü hâkimdir. Aldous Huxley’in Cesur Yeni Dünya, George Orwell’in 1984, Franz Kafka’nın Dava, Ursula K. Leguin’in Mülksüzler adlı romanları bu türün önemli örnekleridir. Türk edebiyatında distopik roman türünün örneklerine sık rastlanmaz. Tahsin Yücel’in Gökdelen romanının yanı sıra Kaan Arslanoğlu’nun Sessizlik Kuleleri 2084 bu türün edebiyatımızdaki sayılı örneklerindendir. Roman, George Orwell’in 1984’üyle kurduğu isim akrabalığı dışında, bilim kurgunun olanaklarını kullanan karanlık bir gelecek kurgusu özelliği de gösterir. Sessizlik Kuleleri 2084, zaman, mekân, olay, kişiler düzleminde geleceğe dair karamsar bir tahayyülü, yazma zamanının yani şimdiki zamanın eleştirisini yapmak üzere kurgular. Roman, bilim-kurgusal fantezilerle süslenmiş; ancak dil ve anlatım açısından bu düzlemden uzaklaşarak sorgulayıcı bir bakış açısının ve tematik vurguların tercih edildiği bir kurguya sahiptir. Bu çalışmada Kaan Arslanoğlu’nun distopik bir roman örneği olan Sessizlik Kuleleri 2084’ü, yapısal ve tematik yönlerinin yanı sıra modernist süreçle ilişkisi açısından da analitik bir şekilde değerlendirilmeye çalışılmaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractUsing all aspects of novel writing when constructing the moment and the past for constructing the future has an effect on the creation of novel types including utopia, counter-utopia (dystopia), science-fiction etc. Presenting existing social conditions as a matter of conflict that end with unfortunate results in the future is the main source of dystopic creations. Therefore, dystopic novels are dominated with fictive foresight about how important personal and social problems that appeared after the post-modern period can become. The Brave New World of Aldous Huxley, the 1984 of George Orwell, the Trial of Franz Kafka, and the Dispossessed of Ursula K. Leguin are important examples of this genre of literature. Dystopic novels are not common in Turkish literature. The Sessizlik Kuleleri 2084 of Kaan Arslanoğlu constitutes one of the few examples with the Gökdelen of Tahsin Yücel. The novel does not only form a bond with George Orwell’s 1984 through its name but also creates a dark future using the possibilities that science-fiction can provide. Sessizlik Kuleleri 2084 builds a dark vision of the future based on a platform formed by time, space, events and individuals in order to criticize the time of writing, which is the current moment. Although the novel is adorned with science-fiction fantasies, it has a structure that adopted an interrogative approach and preferred using thematic emphasis, going beyond that in terms of language and expression. This work tries to evaluate Sessizlik Kuleleri 2084, a dystopic novel example written by Kaan Arslanoğlu, through an analytical approach both in terms of its relation to the modernist process and also through its structural and thematic characteristicsen_US
