Özet
Bu araştırmada Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey Üniversitesi, Edebiyat Fakültesi, Arapça Mütercim tercümanlık Bölümü hazırlık sınıfı öğrencilerinin Arapça’ya yönelik tutumları farklı değişkenler açısından ele alınmıştır. Araştırmada, hazırlık sınıfı öğrencilerinin Arapça diline yönelik tutumlarının ortaya konulması temel amaç olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma verileri elde edilirken veri toplama yöntemi olarak “karma metod” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2017-2018 eğitim yılından Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey Üniversitesi, Arapça Mütercim Tercümanlık Bölümünü kazanan öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri SPSS 21 programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonunda yapılan Ki-kare test sonuçları da dikkate alınarak; Arapça Mütercim Tercümanlık Bölümü hazırlık sınıfı öğrencilerinin Arapça diline karşı olumlu bir anlam yükledikleri, mezun olunan lisenin türünün bir dili öğrenmede önemli bir etken olduğu, dilin öğrenilmesinin zor olmasına karşın dersin yürütücüsünün kolaylaştırıcı bir etkisinin bulunduğu gibi sonuçlar elde edilmiştir.
In this study, the attitudes were examined in terms of several variables towards to Arabic of the preparatory students of Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University, Faculty of Letters, Department of (Arabic) Translation and Interpreting. The aim of this study is to introduce the attitudes of preparatory class students towards Arabic language. “Mix method” was used in this research. The population of this research was formed students who got into university in the academic year 2017-2018 the (Arabic) Department of Translation and Interpretation at Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University. Research data were analyzed by using SPSS 21 program. At the end of the research, by taking into consideration the Chi-square test results; were obtained students have a positive meaning against the Arabic language, that the type of high school graduated is an important factor in learning a language the same time although the language was difficult to learn, lecturer had a enabling effect.
