Özet
Bu çalışma 3-6 yaş arası OSB tanılı çocuklarda baba katılım düzeyi ve etki eden faktörlerin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapıldı. Araştırma Aralık 2022-Temmuz 2024 tarihleri arasında Karaman ilinde 3-6 yaş arası 81 OSB tanılı çocukların babaları ile gerçekleştirildi. Verilerin toplanmasında anket formu ve Baba Katılımı Ölçek formu kullanıldı. Veriler, SPSS 21.0 programını kullanılarak tanımlayıcı istatistikler (sayı, yüzde, ortalama, standart sapma, minimum maksimum değer), Ki kare testi, Independent Simple t testi ve Mann Whitney U testi, ANOVA testi ve Krusskall Wallis testi, ileri analizde Bonferroni testi ve Pearson Korelasyon analizi ile değerlendirildi. Araştırma kapsamına alınan çocukların %81,5' inin (n=66) erkek olduğu, yaşlarının 56,33±9,72 (min=36, maks=76) ay, babaların yaş ortalamalarının 39,52±7,01 (min=24, maks=58) yaş, baba katılım ölçeği toplam puan ortalamasının 133,48±21,21 (min=85, maks=175), Chronbach alfa değerinin .90, keyfi meşguliyet alt boyutundan alınan puan ortalamasının 52,59±12,30 (min=29, maks=85), Chronbach alfa değerinin .86, ilgi ve yakınlık alt boyutundan alınan puan ortalamasının 56,19±4,16 (min=39, maks=60), Chronbach alfa değerinin .68, temel bakım alt boyutundan alınan puan ortalamasının 24,69±8,53 (min=8, maks=40), Chronbach alfa değerinin .85 olduğu belirlendi. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre anne-baba eğitim durumu, annenin çalışma durumu, babanın mesleği, ailenin gelir durumu, babanın otizm ile ilgili eğitim alma durumu, babanın psikolojik danışmanlık/destek alma durumu, otizm tanılı çocuğun sırası, otizmli çocuğu ile aktif olarak geçirilen süre, çocuk için özel/kaynaştırma tedbirleri alınma durumu, çocuğun duygusal, fiziksel vb ihtiyaçları ile ilgilenildiğinde çevreden tepki alma durumu ile babaların BAKÖ toplam ve alt boyut puan ortalamaları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur.
This study aimed to determine the level of father involvement and the influencing factors in children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) aged 3-6 years. The research was conducted with the fathers of 81 children diagnosed with ASD in Karaman province between December 2022 and July 2024. Survey forms and the Father Involvement Scale (FIS) were used for data collection. The data were evaluated using descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, minimum-maximum values), Chi-square test, Independent Simple t-test, Mann Whitney U test, ANOVA test, and Kruskal Wallis test. Bonferroni test and Pearson Correlation analysis were used for advanced analysis. According to the research findings, 81.5% of the children included in the study were male (n=66), with an average age of 56.33±9.72 months (min=36, max=76), and the average age of the fathers was 39.52±7.01 years (min=24, max=58). Total score average of father involvement scale is 133.48±21.21 (min=85, max=175), with a Cronbach's alpha value of .90. The average score obtained from the arbitrary occupation subscale was 52.59±12.30 (min=29, max=85), with a Cronbach's alpha value of .86. The average score obtained from the attention and closeness subscale was 56.19±4.16 (min=39, max=60), with a Cronbach's alpha value of .68. The average score obtained from the primary care subscale was 24.69±8.53 (min=8, max=40), with a Cronbach's alpha value of .85. According to the research results, there were statistically significant differences between the father involvement total and subscale scores and factors such as parental education level, mother's employment status, father's occupation, family income status, father's receipt of autism-related education, father's receipt of psychological counseling/support, birth order of child with ASD, actively spent time with the child with ASD, implementation of special/inclusive measures for the child, and receiving reactions from the environment when dealing with the child's emotional, physical, and other needs.
