Özet

The purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between school administrators’ classroom observation and the effectiveness of their feedbacks, and professional learning community. This research is a descriptive study in correlational model. The population of this study consisted of 2747 teachers working in the province of Karaman, Turkey in the 2020-2021 academic year. In this research, 331 teachers took part in the study as sample by using stratified sampling method on the basis of school levels. In this study, school administrators’ classroom observation and the effectiveness of their feedbacks (SACO), and Professional Learning Community Scale (PLCS) were used. Additionally, a personal information form was prepared to get the demographic information from the teachers. As a result of the study, it was determined that teachers’ perceptions of school administrators as a professional learning community were high, with the effectiveness of classroom observation and the efficiency of the feedbacks offered. It has been determined that there is a positive and medium-meaningful relationship between the school administrators’ classroom observation and the effectiveness of the feedbacks offered and the professional learning community. From the lower dimensions of the vocational learning community, the relationship between the sharing and supporting leadership size and the effectiveness of school administrators’ classroom observation has been found to be higher than other dimensions. The classroom observation and effectiveness of the feedbacks offered by the school administrators have been determined as a meaningful quilt of all sub-dimensions of the vocational learning community. From the results obtained, school administrators were advised to establish dialog with collaborative work, provide training activities and encourage joint decisions in the school as part of shared and supportive leadership behaviors. It is therefore thought that the course audit processes in schools will be more effective
