Okul öncesi dönemde fen eğitimi ve önemi

Çocukların fen ile ilgili ilk deneyimleri doğal çevreleriyle etkileşime geçmeleri ile başlar. Bu ilk deneyimler sonrası, çocuğun araştırma, öğrenme ve çevreyi keşfetme eğilimi yaşamı boyunca devam eder. Eğitim sürecinin önemli bir aşaması olan okul öncesi eğitim döneminde, çocuklara fen ve bilim ilgisinin kazandırılması büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, okul öncesi dönem fen eğitimini çeşitli yönleri ile ele alarak, önemini ortaya koymaktır. Bu bağlamda okul öncesi dönem fen eğitiminin amacı, özellikleri ve yöntemleri ayrıntılı şekilde ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca, konuya ilişkin olarak aile ve öğretmenin rolü başlıkları üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu çalışma ile, okul öncesi dönem fen eğitiminin önemi konusunda farkındalık yaratılması ve bu eğitimin daha etkin ve verimli hale getirilebilmesi için fikirler sunulması hedeflenmiştir. Ayrıca, konuyla ilgili atılacak adımlara katkı sunulmaya çalışılmıştır.

Children’s first experiences with science starts when they inteact with their natural environment. After these first experiences, the child's tendency to research, learn and explore the environment continues throughout his life. To gain interest for children about science, has a great importance in the preschool education period which is an important stage of the education process. The aim of this study is, to reveal the importance of science education in preschool period. In this context, characteristics and methods of preschool science education are discussed in detail. In addition, the role of the family and the teacher were discussed. In this way, it is aimed to raise awareness about the importance of preschool science education and to present ideas to make this education more effective and efficient. Also, it is aimed to contribute to the measures will be taken on this subject.
