Özet
Türkiye’de evde eğitim hizmetleri evde eğitim hizmeti vermek üzere seçilen öğretmenler tarafından gerçekleştirilmektedir (Özel Eğitim Hizmetler Yönetmeliği, 2012). Ancak ülkemizde evde eğitim hizmetlerinde ebeveyn görüşlerinin alınmasıyla ilgili sınırlı araştırmaların yapıldığı görülmektedir. Dolayısıyla bu araştırmada Türkiye’de evde eğitim hizmetlerinin ebeveyn görüşlerine göre incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmaya 2017- 2018 eğitim öğretim yılında çocuğu evde eğitim hizmeti alan 20 ebeveyn katılmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemiyle desenlenmiştir. Araştırma verileri yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi tekniğiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda ebeveynlerin evde eğitim hizmetlerinden memnun oldukları ve bu uygulamanın çocukları için çok faydalı ve önemli olduğunu düşündükleri ortaya çıkmıştır. Bununla birlikte evde eğitim hizmeti vermeyi kabul eden branş öğretmenlerinin sayısının az olması nedeniyle bazı derslere branş öğretmenlerin katılamadıkları görülmektedir. Ayrıca ebeveynler evde eğitim hizmetine katılan öğrencilerin sosyal gelişimlerinin desteklenmesi gerektiği görüşüne sahiptirler.
Home education services in Turkey are provided by the teachers selected to provide education services at home (The Special Education Services Legislation, 2012). However, it is noticed that there is limited research on parents’ perspectives about home education services in Turkey. Therefore, in this study it is aimed to explore home education services in Turkey from the parents’ perspectives. Twenty parents, whose children receive home education services, were included in the study. The research was designed with qualitative research method. The data were collected by the semi-structured interview form and were analyzed with using content analysis technique. It was found out that parents were satisfied with home education services and thought that this practice was very useful and important for their children. However, it is observed that branch teachers do not participate in some courses due to their insufficient numbers, who accept to provide home education services. In addition, parents reported that social development of the students who receive home education services should be supported with organizing some different special and recreational activities.
