Generalized fractional maximal functions in Lorentz spaces Λ

In this paper we give the complete characterization of the boundedness of generalized fractional maximal operator between the classical Lorentz spaces ? p (v) and ? q (w), as well as between ? p (v) and weaktype Lorentz spaces ? q,? (w), and between ? p,? (v) and ? q,? (w), and between ? p,? (v) and ? q (w), for appropriate functions ?, where 0 < p, q, ? < ?, v,w, b are weights on (0,?) such that 0 < B(t) := ? 0 t b < ?, t > 0, B ? ? 2 and B(t)/tr is quasi-increasing for some 0 < r ? 1.
