The heat pipe is a device with high thermal conductivity used for heat transfer. Heat pipe consists of three parts; the evaporator section, which transmits heat to the working fluid: the adiabatic section used for heat transport and the concentrator section that cools the working fluid. The basic working principle of the heat pipe is to change the phase of the working fluid contained in it. The heat pipe absorbs heat from the evaporator, transforms from adiabatic section to concentrator and transmits its temperature to the environment, i.e. transfer heat from one region to another using evaporation and condensation phase change. The weak thermal conductivity of the traditional working fluids used in the heat pipe limits the effectiveness and application of heat transfer. Therefore, the idea of replacing the traditional working fluid with a working fluid with high heat transfer performance has been formed. Scientists and engineers have made great efforts to overcome this fundamental problem by distributing nano-sized particles into liquids. Nanofluids are stable solid-liquid suspension created by mixing nanoparticles with traditional working fluid. In this study, experimental and numerical research on nanofluids used in heat pipes are examined. The thermal performance and thermal resistance of the heat pipe depend on many experimental conditions. These conditions contain different parameters such as heat pipe types, nanofluid properties, design of heat pipes and working conditions.Öğe Değişken bağlantı nokta sayısına sahip kablo kontrollü düzlemsel bir paralel robot mekanizmasının geometrik optimizasyonu(Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey Üniversitesi, 2021) Telci, Serkan; Toz, MetinBu çalışmada düzlemsel kablo kontrollü bir çizim robotu için geometrik optimizasyon yapan bir sistem önerilmiştir. Bu sistem, kullanıcıdan aldığı örnek resmin robot tarafından çizilebilmesini sağlayacak optimum geometrik tasarımı önermektedir. Sistem giriş olarak, örnek resim ve kablo kontrollü robot için istenilen köşe noktası sayısını almakta ve bu bilgileri kullanarak robot mekanizmasının kablo uzunluklarını ve kabloların kaleme bağlantı noktalarını optimize etmektedir. Optimizasyon aracı olarak Genetik Algoritma kullanılmıştır. Önerilen sistemin test edilmesi amacıyla iki farklı resim ve üç farklı köşe nokta sayısı için geometrik optimizasyon yapılmış ve elde edilen sonuçlar karşılaştırmalı olarak sunulmuştur.Öğe Konumsal uyarlanmış çatıya göre özel smarandache eğrilerinin ürettiği yörüngeler(Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey Üniversitesi, 2021) Özen, Kahraman Esen; Tosun, MuratIn differential geometry, the theory of curves has an important place. The concept of moving frame defined on curves is an important part of this theory. Recently, Ozen and Tosun have introduced a new moving frame for the ¨ trajectories with non-vanishing angular momentum in 3-dimensional Euclidean space (J. Math. Sci. Model. 4(1), 2021). This frame is denoted by {T,M, Y} and called as positional adapted frame. In the present study, we investigate the special trajectories generated by TM, TY and MY−Smarandache curves according to positional adapted frame in E 3 and we calculate the Serret-Frenet apparatus of these trajectories. Later, we consider a specific curve and obtain the parametric equations of the aforesaid special trajectories for this curve. Finally, we give the graphics of these obtained special trajectories which were drawn with the Mathematica program. The results obtained here are new contributions to the field. We expect that these results will be useful in some specific applications of differential geometry and particle kinematics in the future.Öğe Dairesel-hiperbolik Fibonacci ve Lucas kuaterniyonlar üzerine bir çalışma(Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey Üniversitesi, 2021) Yılmaz, NazmiyeWe investigate some properties of circular-hyperbolic Fibonacci and Lucas quaternions (CHF LQ for short). Also, we introduce their negative subscripts and obtain combinatorial sums. Finally, we present a general summation, exponential and Poisson generating functions of the CHF LQ.Öğe Qubit representation of motion on the 2D plane(Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey Üniversitesi, 2021) Dündar Furkan, SemihIn this study we consider a qubit (quantum bit) as the spin degree of freedom of a spin-1/2 particle. Since the 2D plane and the 2-sphere minus the north pole are topologically equivalent, one can represent motion on the 2D plane on the 2-sphere. We use inverse stereographic projection to map the 2D plane to the 2-sphere minus the north pole. Because the 2-sphere can be thought of as the Bloch sphere where any point represents a qubit, the time evolution of a particle on the 2D plane corresponds to the time evolution of the corresponding qubit on the Bloch sphere. We use the property of magnetic field to rotate spins to provide exact time dependent magnetic field to simulate, using a single qubit, the path followed by a particle on the 2D plane.
