Erginlenme ritüellerinin halk anlatılarına yansımaları

| dc.description.abstract | Öz Bu çalışmada erginlenme ritüellerinin anlatılara nasıl kaynaklık ettiğini takip edebilmek için Avustralya, Pasifik Adaları, Afrika, Kuzey Amerika ve Orta Asya’daki halklardan derlenen ritüellerle, örneklem yoluyla seçilen destan, halk hikâyesi gibi sözlü anlatılardaki erginlenme temaları karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda yapılan okumalar sonucunda Eliade’nin erginlenme törenleri hakkında yaptığı sınıflandırmanın anlatılar bağlamında güncellenmesi gerektiği düşünülmüştür. Eliade’nin sınıflandırmasındaki Yetişkinliğe Giriş Törenleri, Gizli Derneklere Giriş Törenleri ve Şaman-Otacı Sınamaları başlıkları sırasıyla; Olgunluk Erginlenmeleri, Topluluğa Giriş Erginlenmeleri ve Sırra Erme Erginlenmeleri olarak güncellenmiştir. Güncelleme anlatılardaki erginlik temaları dikkate alınarak yapılmıştır. Sonraki aşamada örneklem yoluyla seçilen anlatılar güncellenen başlıklar altında incelenmiştir. Yetişkinliğe giriş ritüellerindeki yaş kıstasının anlatılardaki olgunluk erginlenmeleri temalarında geçerli olmadığı ayrıca olgunluk erginlenmelerinde toplum yararına kan dökmenin esas olduğu; gizli derneklere giriş törenlerinin, evlenme ve bilgi alma yoluyla topluluğa giriş erginlenmeleri şeklinde görüldüğü tespit edilmiştir. Şaman-otacı erginlenmelerindeki ölme, parçalanma, yeniden, doğma süreçlerinin, anlatılardaki temalarda da sembolik olarak görüldüğü ve kahramanın bu süreçte egosunu yok ederek kendi kendine sır bir bilgiye vâkıf olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Ritüellerle anlatılardaki erginlenme temaları arasındaki en önemli ortak noktanın ise yeniden doğuş fikri olduğu tespit edilmiştir. | dc.description.abstract | In this study, themes of passage in oral narratives such as epic and folk story selected by sampling were analysed comparatively with the rites compiled by researchers from the peoples in Australia, Pacific Islands, Africa, North America and Central Asia in order to follow how rites of passage originate the narratives. As a result of the readings made for the purpose of the study, it was thought that the classification made by Eliade about rites of passage should be updated in the context of narratives. The titles in the classification of Eliade, which were Passage of Adulthood, Passage of Admission to Secret Associations and Shaman-Herbalist Tests Rituals have been updates as Passage of Maturity, Passage of Admission to Community and Passage of Wisdom. The update was made taking into account the maturity themes in the narratives. In the next stage, the narratives selected through the sampling were analysed under updated titles. It was understood that the age criterion in passage of adulthood rituals was not valid in passage of maturity themes in narratives, besides it was essential to shed blood for the benefit of society during passage of maturity, and that admission rituals to secret associations were considered as adults joining the community by marriage and obtaining information. It has been observed that the processes of death, fragmentation, rebirth in shaman-herbalist passages were also symbolically seen in the themes within the narratives, and that the hero obtained a secret information on his own by destroying his ego in the process. It has been determined that the most important commonality between the themes of passage in rites and narratives is the idea of rebirth. | en_US |
