| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada, Federico García Lorca’nın Yerma adlı eserindeki toplumsal baskı teması çeşitli yönleriyle incelenecektir. Bu bağlamda öncelikle XX. yüzyılın ilk yarısının öne çıkan isimlerinden şair ve dramaturg Lorca’dan ve onun tiyatrosundan bahsedilecek, ardından eserin konusuna değinilecektir. Lorca’nın ele aldığı insan tabiatının, törelerle örülü olan çelişkili ve meşakkatli ilişkileri toplumsal değerlerle birlikte irdelenecektir. Lorca’nın yaşamı ve tiyatro anlayışı eserlerini doğru yorumlamada oldukça etkili ögelerdir. Bunun en iyi örneklerinden biri de kuşkusuz Yerma adlı eserindeki başkişi ve dönemin mevcut toplumudur. Lorca, yaşadığı toplumu, eserlerinde vazgeçilmez bir unsur olarak merkeze koyar; yaşananları, bu merkezde özneleriyle beraber adeta bir fotoğraf albümüne çevirir ve toplumu derinine işler. Toplumsal baskıyı eserdeki karakterler aracılığıyla yansıtması; doğa sembollerinin, vurguladığı bu baskıyı yansıtırken üstlendikleri rolleri üzerinde durması, onun bireyi ve içinde yaşadığı toplumu ne denli derin analiz ettiğinin somut bir sonucudur. Diğer birçok tiyatro eserinde olduğu gibi yazar bu eserinde de bir kadın figürünü baş kişi olarak seçer ve onu dönemin mevcut toplumunun sorunlarının ve kaygılarının psikolojik ve sosyolojik, toplumsal ve bireysel bağlamında bir bütün içinde merkezde tutar. En büyük isteği anne olmak olan, ancak bu isteğini bir türlü gerçekleştiremeyen başkişi, eserin başlarında daha kaderine sığınmış ve umudunu koruyor iken, eserin sonlarına doğru sesini yükseltir, yazgısına baş kaldırır ve tüm zincirleri kırarak inandığı ne varsa al aşağı eder. | dc.description.abstract | This study analyses the theme of social pressure in Yerma by Federico García Lorca from various perspectives. First of all, in this context, one of the prominent poets and dramaturgs of the first half of the XXth century, Lorca and his theatre and then the theme of Yerma will be examined. The contradictory and arduous relationships of human nature, woven with customs, discussed by Lorca, will be mentioned along with social values. Lorca’s life and his understanding of theatre are very important elements to properly interpret his works. One of the best examples of this is, with no doubt, the main character in Yerma and the society of that period. Lorca places the society in which he lives, at the centre of his works as an indispensable element; and there he literally turns the events into a photo album with his subjects and focuses on society. Reflecting social pressure through the characters in the work; his emphasis on the roles of nature symbols in reflecting this pressure is a concrete result of how deeply he analyses the individual and the society in which he lives. As in many of his other works, the author chooses a female figure as the main character in this tragedy, and places her at the centre of the problems and concerns of the existing society of the period within the psychological and sociological, social, and individual context as a whole. The protagonist Yerma, whose great desire is just to be a mother, but without hope, keeps belief in destiny and her hope at the beginning, however towards the end of the text she raises her voice, rebels against her fate and breaks all the chains by destroying everything she believes in. In fact, she destroys her only hope by strangling her husband with her own hands. | en_US |
