Özet
Bilginin çok hızlı üretilip yayılması sebebiyle okunacak materyallerin günden güne artması, buna karşın okumaya ayrılan zamanın giderek azalması, birtakım yenilikleri gerekli kılmaktadır. Bireylerin bir dakikada okudukları kelime sayısını anlam kaybetmeden artırmayı amaçlayan hızlı okuma teknikleri, günümüz dünyası için giderek daha çok ihtiyaç hâline gelmektedir. Ancak bu tekniklerin öğrenilmesi yeni ihtiyaçları da beraberinde getirmektedir. Hızlı okuma çalışmalarında yalnızca okuma hızının artırılmasına odaklanılmasının yerine bireyler bu eğitimden sonra hangi metin türünde hangi hızlı okuma tekniklerini kullanacakları konusunda yetkinleşmeli, hızlı okumayı gündelik hayatın olağan bir parçası hâline getirmeyi başarmalıdırlar. Bütün bunlardan hareketle bu çalışmada okuma ve okuduğunu anlama bağlamında hızlı okuma teknikleri hakkında bilgi verilmiş, bu konuda genel bir çerçeve çizilmeye çalışılmıştır. Sistematik derleme yönteminin kullanıldığı araştırmada yerli ve yabancı literatürde yer verilen hızlı okuma teknikleri hakkında açıklamalara gidilmiştir.
Due to the rapid production and dissemination of information, the number of materials to be read is increasing day by day, and the time allocated to reading is gradually decreasing, necessitating some innovations. Speed reading techniques, which aim to increase the number of words that individuals read in a minute without losing their meaning, are becoming more and more necessary for today's world. However, learning these techniques brings with it new needs. Instead of focusing only on increasing the reading speed in speed reading studies, individuals should become competent in which text type and which speed reading techniques to use after this training, and they should succeed in makings peed reading a normal part of daily life. Based on all these, in this study, information was given about speed reading techniques in the context of reading and reading comprehension, and a general framework was tried to be drawn on this subject. In the study, in which the systematic compilation method was used, explanations were made about the speed reading techniques included in the domestic and foreign literature.
